Succes, support, sustainable and streamline
As a modern flower grower, we move with the times. More than that: we are regularly leaders in our field. We are constantly seeking improvement. How can the process be more efficient? Where do the opportunities lie when it comes to healthy cultivation and future-proof business opportunities? We also constantly monitor the balance between quality, speed and sustainability.
Healthy growth
That’s our company’s mission: the propagation of bulbs and corms. Our expertise lies in the healthy growth, handling and processing of the bulb. For example: cultivation, planting, spraying, looking for diseases, harvesting and sorting. We carry out much of the cultivation process ourselves. We invest in machinery and knowledge. We ensure that we are up to date with trends and developments. For example, we had an efficient bulb processing line custom made. This line uses the latest technologies and has a direct link to our software systems. In 2023 we invested in the purchase of a high-end field sprayer. Recently we purchased a high-tech selection robot, that will be delivered in 2025. In the future we will work with drones, that contribute to a more sustainable growth.
Stronger together
In the bulb growing sector, we are unable to, and don’t want to, do it on our own. We simply need each other a great deal in this sector. Our company is actively seeking connection and collaboration with other like-minded companies. Our openness and networking have led to worthwhile (business) relationships.
Future proof
Our company is MPS-GAP certified. The certificate proves that the traceability, environment, safety and hygiene in our company are in order. We believe its par for the course that we work safely and look after our employees and our environment properly. Therefore, even when it comes to handling our bulbs, we opt for organic resources and modern techniques as far as possible. We, Fields, are of course reducing our footprint by decreasing our energy consumption, consciously opting to use sustainable energy sources and are economical with water consumption.
