Fields Source of flowers

We belong to the select group of Dutch freesia growers who cultivate outdoor. For many years Fields Source of Flowers has been specializing in the growth of freesia corms and cormels. In other words: the propagation, growth, handling and processing of these summer bloomers.

Contract and cultivation

We have been collaborating on a contractual basis for Van den Bos Flowerbulbs. We operate in the Duin- en Bollenstreek region. Their customers use our corms for the glasshouse production of wonderfully fragrant cut flowers and potted plants. The various varieties of freesias are exported to around 60 different countries.

Own growing

In addition to delivering to Van den Bos on a contractual basis, we also grow our own freesia corms. As grower we are affiliated with sales organisation BVS. Our corms go to various export companies, who ship them worldwide. That's how they, for example, end up in garden centers, who sell the corms to consumers. They plant the freesias in their own garden.
